The snappily-titled Transparency of Lobbying, Non-Party Campaigning and Trade Union Administration Act 2014 (aka the Lobbying Act) is in force and affects what can and can’t be said by organisations and their staff and members (including volunteers).
It can catch activity that might not normally be regarded as “political”.
Breaking the Lobbying Act can result in fines and adverse publicity for us.
